A manufacturer of flight simulation hardware for military and aerospace, Bugeye Technologies had completely outgrown its dated Wix website.

Due to the platform’s limitations, the sales and marketing team found it difficult to fully list the company’s hundreds of products, their variations, and the associated datasheets and images.

In addition, Bugeye wanted to better showcase its custom build capabilities — whether for its simulation components or its complex electrical and mechanical assemblies.

The new site was custom-developed and utilizes WordPress’ Gutenburg editor. Each element, from content to images, is contained in blocks, which can easily be customized, reused, and updated.

In fact, WordPress is so easy for people to learn and use, VP of Business Development Kyle Zick and Sales Engineer Aaron Lackman were able to get the Products section ship-shape before the site’s soft launch at the I/ITSEC 2021 trade show.

Other redesign benefits include:

  • Mega-menu navigation for Products by aircraft and component type
  • Individual pages for each Product with RFQ button
  • Site search box for searching by part number or part name
  • Expanded About section, including team bios, company history, etc.
  • Custom RFQ form
  • Updated SEO and non-www domain redirect
  • Migrating to new web host WP Engine

The result is a clean, easily navigable website that works perfectly on desktop and mobile devices.

Says Kyle, “Huff Industrial Marketing helped us organize our extensive product line in order to import it into WordPress, as well as revising our messaging and content — and all in time for our big industry trade show. We began receiving inquiries immediately after site launch.”
