Update: 11/20/2021

I’ve been alerted that someone has filed a class action lawsuit against the American Tuna company for alleged false advertising — that they don’t catch all of their tuna in local waters and that not all of the product is canned in the US. I have not yet read the 47-page lawsuit or contacted the company. I intend to do both. I’ve put a lot of trust in this company and its products and hope that the claims are false.

When I have friends over for dinner, I often send them home with a can of American Tuna. The response is always the same, “Where can I buy this tuna?!”

I discovered American Tuna a few years ago and after eating my first can, I knew I could never go back to mushy, tasteless supermarket tuna.

American Tuna is unique for several reasons.

✔️ Each tuna is pole & line caught by American fishermen.

✔️ The tuna is 100% traceable back to the U.S. vessel.

✔️ The tuna is hand-packed in the Pacific Northwest.

✔️ Pole & line caught tuna contain less mercury.

✔️ The product is turtle AND dolphin safe.

Plus, it’s DELICIOUS!

I buy mine direct from American Tuna. Get the 12 pack as you will gobble it up. Then wait for the email from them with a promo code to order your next fix. 😀

Full disclosure:
I’m not paid nor asked to write about Made in the USA products. I buy a product and use it. If I like it, I write about it and tell everyone I know about it.

Why? Because I support and believe in U.S. manufacturing and the benefits it provides to people, our local communities, and states. Writing about American-made products — and helping others buy these products — is my way of giving back.
